Select the Division/Class (or Module or Flexible plan) you want to work on.
To create or change Continuation and Reactivation of the benefits table, click on the "Modify" icon, then indicate the date and reason for the change.
Then give your plan a name.
Continuation
For each employment status indicated, enter the number of months for which the disability income (STD and LTD) and other benefits will be maintained ((LIFE, AD&D, DEP, DMP, EHC, DRUG, VC, DC, EAP, OLM, OLS, OLD, ODM, and ODD).
Note that a blank field means that there is no time limit for maintaining the benefits.
Reactivation of the limit
If an employee is absent for a period that exceeds a certain number of months, he will be subject to a new eligibility period.
Enter the number of complete months the employee has to be absent before being submitted to a new eligibility period.
For example, if you indicate "12", an employee whose employment status returns to "Active" in less than 12 months will be eligible for the insurance on the date he returns to work, whereas an employee who returns after 12 months and 1 day will have to meet the new eligibility period as if he were a new employee.
Note that if several Divisions/Classes have the same conditions you can make your entries faster by using the Copy / Paste procedure. |
